Eleven systems for legal review, redlining and audit proof, in one product
LexCore is a vertically integrated, jurisdiction-specific legal platform. It is not a chat box with a legal prompt. OCR ingestion, multi-agent adversarial review, native Word redlines and a cryptographic audit chain are one system, built for Nigerian practice, and every finding is anchored to an exact span of your document before it reaches you.
CitationGate verification engine
Every AI assertion is checked mechanically against the raw document text. If the exact character span cannot be verified, the finding is dropped. Each result gets a traffic light: green (verified, clean offset), amber (challenged or stale citation) or red (contradicted or unresolvable quote).
Multi-agent adversarial debate
The agents are picked for the type of document in front of them: Commercial Risk, Nigerian Jurisdiction, Regulatory Compliance, Ambiguity Detection. They work blind and in parallel for up to three rounds. An arbiter settles conflicting findings, and a conflict it cannot settle goes to a lawyer as a Human Gate.
Playbook comparison and clause intelligence
Compares incoming contract terms with your firm's or organisation's structured playbook. It flags deviations in liability caps, indemnities, IP rights and governing law, then suggests the pre-approved Tier 1 and Tier 2 fallback clauses to put in their place.
Native Word (.docx) redline engine
We edit the OpenXML package inside the Microsoft Word file directly. What comes out is native tracked changes (w:ins and w:del elements) and margin comments (w:comment), with complex tables, legal numbering and firm formatting intact.
Dual ingestion and high-fidelity OCR
Takes native text and scanned PDFs of executed documents. There are two lanes. Mistral-OCR handles multi-column legal layouts, execution blocks and tables; Sovereign OCR does the same work entirely on local, air-gapped hardware. You see a scan fidelity score before review starts.
Sovereign local inference and air-gap VPC
For confidential dispute memos, government agreements, and matters under strict privilege policies. Runs local CPU/GPU models (Gemma 4, Llama 3.1, Nomic Embed) on infrastructure you control: your own data centre, in Nigeria or anywhere else, or an air-gapped private VPC. No third-party AI provider sits in the document path.
Matter management and proactive intake
Contracts arrive from Slack, WhatsApp, email and manual uploads, and land in one place. LexCore assigns the client Matter ID, pulls out the main obligations and puts court and statutory deadlines in your calendar.
Human Gates and the Lawyer Analysis Metric
External actions, such as client update emails, registry notices and redlines sent to counterparties, are staged and never fired automatically. Nothing goes out without explicit, recorded sign-off from an authorised human counsel. How much review a task needs before that sign-off is set by its Review Level, our implementation of the Lawyer Analysis Metric (LAM). The level is chosen before the work starts and stored with it, so supervision is on the record rather than assumed.
Regulatory radar and corporate entity intelligence
Tracks Nigerian legislative and regulatory changes, such as FCCPC guidance and CBN circulars, and flags contract terms that fall foul of them. If a deployment has access to the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registry, company numbers (RC/BN) and directors can be checked against it. Without that access, the check reports unavailable instead of guessing.
Interactive twin-view and clause heatmap
The original text and the proposed redline sit side by side and scroll together. The clause heatmap shows where the risk sits across the whole contract, so a reviewer can go straight to the liability and indemnity sections that need attention.
Immutable cryptographic audit trail
Every contract change, reviewer annotation, AI reasoning trace and human gate approval is written to a cryptographic hash chain. The result is a tamper-evident custody receipt suitable for court submission, a regulatory audit or an internal governance review.
