Everyday tools: PDF, convert, OCR, refine, polish, grammar
The quick utilities lawyers use all the time. They skip the full debate on purpose, so they stay fast and cheap.
Not every task needs a multi-agent debate. LexCore includes the everyday tools legal teams use constantly, and they skip the heavy pipeline on purpose to stay fast and low-cost.
- Edit and assemble PDFs. Compile court bundles with an index and continuous pagination, stamp Bates numbers, annexures and watermarks, rotate, delete or merge pages, and securely redact a PDF so the covered text is removed, not just hidden.
- Convert and OCR. PDF to DOCX conversion, and OCR for scanned or photographed documents (kept local on the sovereign tier).
- Refine a clause, polish a write-up, fix grammar: text tools for quick turnarounds.
A note on redaction
A box drawn over text is not secure. The text can still be extracted from underneath. When content must actually be removed, open PDF Tools and choose Redact. Draw a box over each passage and apply. Every page you mark is flattened into an image, so the text under the boxes is gone from the file, and that page can no longer be searched or copied from. A PDF from your computer comes straight back redacted, and LexCore stores no copy of it. A document already in a matter is redacted from its Redact link: the redacted copy is saved as a new version and the original stays in its version history, so send the redacted download, not the document record.
