Authority-grounded legal research

Answers grounded in Nigerian authority, with every citation verified, superseded law flagged, and coverage limits stated plainly.

Legal research is the most common legal AI use case, and the one where hallucination does the most damage. LexCore's research tool is built on an authority store and strict rules.

  • Every answer is grounded in retrieved Nigerian authority, and every citation it asserts goes through an authority verifier, so no fabricated case or statute survives.
  • Currency is shown. Superseded law is flagged, not quoted as current.
  • Coverage limits are stated plainly. A question outside the corpus gets an explicit "not in coverage" instead of a confident guess.

Coverage is growing

Nigerian authority coverage is growing from an open base (NigeriaLII, Supreme Court, Laws.Africa) towards licensed feeds. The product tells you what it can and cannot verify.

Optional open-web search

You can turn on a private, self-hosted web search for leads. Its results are quarantined as context only: they never pass the citation and authority gates, and they are kept separate from verified answers. It is off unless configured, and a sovereign tenant has to opt in explicitly.
